You are going to be overcome with masculine cards in the next few days... I have my brother-in-law's birthday today, my brother's birthday tomorrow, and my husband's birthday the following day... and no, I'm not making that up! When I looked the Occasions Mini, I noticed the stamp set "And Many Mower" right away. As I mentioned in a previous post, it reminded me of my dad. Now, I'm really not the cartoony type, but I decided to give one a "go". I'm addicted! They are so much fun to watercolour with. Besides that, my sister and her hubby bought their first detached home just over a year ago, and along with the wonders of space came the joy of mowing the lawn:)
All of the DSP (designer series paper) used on this card is from the To The Nines Specialty designer series paper. It is a specialty paper because it is textured... talk about rich feeling! Anyway, this is one of the DSP's included in the DSP "buy three get the fourth free" sale on from now until the end of May!
Happy Birthday Knowles!
I'm new to your blog so you may have answered this before - but do you ever give measurements, colors you are using etc? Also, on this card did you use the water color pen with the lid of the ink pad or did you use the water color pencils? Thanks!
ReplyDeleteHey Janessa... if you forward me your email address I'll send those measurements off to you right away:) I actually used the markers on the watercolour paper and then just pulled the colour into the image using the aquapainters. (very easy technique) This particular card was Always Artichoke, Sahara Sand, Chocolate Chip, and Really Rust on the lawn mower:) Hope this helps a little!
ReplyDeleteOh wow - that was great. Thanks! My email is: janessa26@yahoo.com
