This was the second club card that we did lastnight. I love to show the ladies different types of cards, so this month we had a go at the easel card:) As they were finishing up last night we had a chuckle. We were trying to figure out if the people that we sent them to would actual realize that they needed to stand them up like this:) We decided to include a post it note with instructions:) 
WOW! Hardest challenge ever for me! I am an Earth Elements girl through and through... Bold Brights and I just don't get along. I had to keep it simple so that I could get my head around the colours. I will admit that I did have fun inking up the sentiment with my Stampin' Write Markers. The final effect reminded me of the first stamp pad I ever owned... it was rainbow!
I have been in awe of all of the vintage cards out there and decided to give it a try myself the other night. I made a great friend this year at Convention/ Founder's Circle. Dawn did an amazing scrapbook page on her blog and I couldn't resist casing parts of it when I created my card. I am the LEAST frilly girl you will ever meet; I'm most comfortable in sweats:) On that note, I was surprised with how much fun I had creating this card and how pleased I was with the overall effect. I hope that my club girls like this as this will be one of club cards this week!
This was another card I made while playing with my Simply Scrappin' Kit the other day. The colours are so perfect for both males or females:) I love making the star outlines... for those of you who haven't made these before, you'll need both sizes of star punch. first, you punch the small star punch out of piece of scrap paper... you can either toss this small star or use it as an accent elsewhere on your card. Then you center the large star punch over top of the star hole in the scrap and punch again. It leaves you with this fabulous outline shape!

I had bought a gift card for my sis-in-law for her birthday and decided that I was going to finally pull out my Pop Up Look Here die. After having read the directions, I decided to make my card front first:) Notice how simple the cardfront is???? I thought that the inside was going to be much more complicated:) It was actually super easy to put together and I love the way that it makes the gift card stand out:) Seeing Jill Hilliard's card inspired me to get it out and try this layout:) Thanks Jill!
I was playing with my Sunny Day Simply Scrappin' Kit today and was inspired to crawl out of my craft cave and try some new layouts on my computer! The colours in the DSP are so vibrant. The best part is that even though I'm even out of my DSP in my kit... I've got an endless supply on my computer!

Stampin' Up just released two new digital downloads today! I will admit that I'm relieved that they released the epoxy brads in the digital form as I'm going through the real ones at an alarming rate! 
Sometimes when I go down to my craft room I just have a mental block. I find that something that works well for me is to pull out a sketch and just eliminate that aspect of the planning. This was a quick card when I knew that I only had a short time to craft the other night.
