Did It!

Well, after my 4am wake up to watch the gold medal game, I seriously wondered if there would be neough of my brain left for a card.  Fortunately I came across a card on Pinterest created by Connie Collins.  I loved the way she created the look of an embossed background by gluing on the buttons from the buttons embosslit.  What do you think... maybe I'll try one with the butterflies next!

Freshly Made Sketches Card Creation

My girlfriend and I sat down lastnight to craft for just a few minutes... both with the challenge of creating a card based on this week's Freshly Made Sketches Challenge.  Our cards were so different although we both used the same package of DSP and the same stamps... love the variations that we can create using this sketch!

Go Gold!

I whipped this quick card up when I was away at my cabin for the Family Day long weekend (this was a week earlier in BC).  I had limited supplies but had fun mixing the old and new together:)  The photo below was my first attempt, but it felt like it was missing something so I added the gold mat and candy dots.  Looking at it now I feel like the mat should have been black.
