Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #98 ~ Unique Folds

This week's Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge was a particularly difficult one for me.  As anyone who knows me is aware of, I have a hard time "thinking outsdie the box".  For the most part I am in the box with the lid locked!   The only folds I know are the ones where you fold an 8 1/2x 5 1/2" piece of cardstock in half to make an A2 card:)

Thank goodness a great friend of mine, Wanda, recently gave me one of these gorgeous Christmas ornaments!  She also volunteered to come in and make them with my class.  (Her wonderful son, Allan, is in my class:).  The kids had a blast making them!  Their's were made from square pieces of DSP although the one that I'm showing here is made from circles:)  You can see how these fold up for easy storage in the above photo.

  2. so cute, love the pearl at the top, would love to see a tutorial on these!! :) Merry Christmas Angela!

  3. What a cool ornament. I like how it folds flat, too. I'm with you on not doing many "fancy folded" projects. This was very therapeutic for us. LOL!

  4. This is so very cool! Never seen anything like it and how neat that it folds up, that's genius!
