Stampin' Royalty Challenge #286 ~ Picture Inspiration

If Watercolor Wings stamp set wasn't on your radar before, then it should be now!  This stamp set is stunning!  I've seen some gorgeous colour combos used but I have to admit I'm more partial to the monochromatic butterfly:)  I love the 6x6" size of the new Brick Wall and Fluttering Textured Impressions Embossing Folders.

Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #216 ~ Colour Challenge

Okay, how can you not LOVE the new Happy Birthday Everyone stamp set???  Combining it with the Elegant Dots and Fluttering Textured Impressions Embossing Folder was a quick and easy way to tie these three colour together!  Unfortunately I didn't finish this card until after dark so the lighting was dreadful when I took the photo, but I'll take a new one once I'm up in the morning and replace this:)

Baker's Box Thinlit

Okay... gotta admit I'm a sucker for little boxes etc.  The new Baker's Box Thinlit was the first thing on my "must have" list:)   It is ADORABLE!!!!  I decided to try it out using the corrugated paper that has been introduced into the catalogue this year... it comes in kraft and white and they are equally AWESOME!!!  Add a little of the white 1 1/4" Jute ribbon and you're set to go:)  I used my stamp set and some left overs and the stamps from the new Watercolor Card Kit... just wait until I show you that one!

All Day Card

Have you ever sat down to create and just got nowhere????  That was me today... it took all day to create this simple card... I started and stopped and peeled off layers and removed embellishments... never quite got it right but I'm stopping now:)  On a more positive note... I got a ton done on my Project Life summer album:)  One of my favourite parts of summer.  I spend about 25 minutes every night and just put the days pictures in my album and embellish and journal:)

Stampin' Royalty Challenge #285

This week's Colour Challenge had me stumped as usual.  I really struggle pulling colours into cards without just colour blocking.  Thank goodness my Happy Patterns Decorative Masks arrived yesterday!  I put those together with what will now be a favourite, Layered Letters,  and the Birthday sentiment from Tin of Cards.   I'm actually thrilled with how it came together.  Make sure to head over and play with us at Stampin' Royalty this week!  I can't wait to see what you create!
