My Digital Studio Classes Anyone?

Just a quick page I was playing with on My Digital Studio #118108 today as I was trying to make sure that I had pages for each of teh boys school photos in the scrapbook.  I remember watching in horror as the barber gave Lucas a "faux- hawk".  But boy oh boy does it every suit his personality!!!!!

On another note Stampin' Up released two new downloads for My Digital Studio today! I will admit that I wondered what one would do with this tiny little tag punch when I first saw it along with the coordinating Tiny Tags Stamp set, but it took using it once to change my mind!  I love that I can add these adorable little embellishments to my projects to personalize them!

Mom and Me Time:)

My parents are staying with us this week before they head back to Winnipeg.  My mom and dad have always showed a great interest in my SU life and when my mom has been in town she has always been eager to help with swaps.  Lastnight my mom had a small request, she needed some birthday cards for her two of her brothers who have birthdays in January.  I told her that I would be happy to send her away with two cards, she just had to take part in making them:)

I love the way that we started off with the same concept and yet my mom's card turned out completely different than the one that I made.  I've always had a hard time angling things and have the tendency to just keep things square.  My mom on the other hand had no problem with this and I love the way that her card turned out!  I also stuck to my standard Scallop Circle Punch and my mom was more creative using the 1 3/4" circle punch and then paper piercing to add detail!

Mojo Monday Week 119

Happy New Year to all!  I hope that 2010 brings you and your family health and happiness!  I had a little play time today as the boys are recovering from staying up for the first New Years ever and my hubby had a busy night at work lastnight!  (he's a fireman:)  I thought that I'd play with the current Mojo Monday challenge.

I think my card making has been greatly motivated lately by the new camera and light box that my hubby bought me for Christmas!  I love not having to fight with the camera and lighting to photograph my cards!
