  1. These bags turned out great! I think putting "Blessings Mix" in them would be perfect.

    Bugles Brand Corn Snacks
    Pretzels
Candy corn and/or Corn Nuts Brand Snack
    Dried or Candy Fruits
    Peanuts and/or Sunflower Seeds

Each ingredient in this snack mix symbolizes something associated with the Harvest Season (Thanksgiving)

Bugles Brand Corn Snacks - represents a cornucopia, a horn of plenty.
Pretzels - represents arms folded in thanks and prayer.
Candy Corn and/or Corn Nuts Brand Snack - during the first Winter, the pilgrims were each allotted only 5 kernels of corn per day because food was so scarce.
Dried or Candy Fruits - Thanksgiving is the celebration of the harvest.
Peanuts and/or Sunflower Seeds - seeds represent the potential of a bounteous harvest for the next season if they are planted and well tended.

Place mix in zip lock or tied cello bag. Add blessing discription and place inside your bag.

  2. This is really cute and would look fabulous with some Purdy's chocolate leaves or balls in them? Smile!! I'm a huge fan of Purdy's chocolates.

  3. Mmmm I'm with Cynthia, chocolate! LOL! The blessing mix sounds yummy, but I think the greece from the bugles would leave oil marks on the bag! Not so pretty! How about Reese's Pieces; not the cups but the peices, they are fall colors; orange, yellow and brown! They would totally match!!
