Sorry that my post is so late going up.  I hadn't been on my computer until now and I was sure that I'd hit publish last night but apparently I'd left it in draft form:(

I had so much fun making this ornament... not sure that I like the ribbon that I used as I think that it will be too thick for the tree, but at least I understand how to make the ornament now.

Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #95

I was so excited when I saw this challenge... I love to create ornaments at this time of year... and this gave me an excuse to fit one into my crazy schedule right now:)  I love the idea of using up scraps of leftover DSP (you may have noticed this in the Herringbone card I made the other day:)  The silver glimmer paper easily adhered to my glass ornaments with jsut some basic Sticky Strip.

Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #94~ InspirationCreate

Well, we arrived back from Mexico to snowfall here in Vancouver.  On Monday morning as we were getting ready for school I asked my oldest son Joe to let the dogs out of the front door.  As he saw the snow coming down all I heard was, "Oh for the love of god!"  Straight out of the mouths of babes! 

With only 4 hours sleep on Sunday night and 15 loads of wash to do, my crafting time was LIMITED on Sunday and I really wanted to create for this week's challenge.  Fortunately I'd received a card in the mail from my up-up-upline that was STUNNING!  I decided to CASE it changing up the stamp set and colours.   Don't you think it would make the perfect SAS Card?

My Digital Studio to the Rescue!

 After all the drama with Lucas' birthday invitations, we decided on avoiding a Yoda cake like we'd initially planned.  Instead we decided to go with an Angry Birds theme:)  Sorry about the toothpicks in the cakes; I was just about to put the Saran Wrap on when I realized that I hadn't photographed it yet.  I remembered to take a quick picture before the army of six year olds got let loose.  The next dilemma we faced was the thank you cards.  I decided to whip those up on My Digital Studio:)  Lucas politely informed me after I'd printed them all that the pigs don't go in the sling shots, the birds do:)  I just as equally politely informed him that he'd better get started on printing the insides of those 10 cards:)
