Hand Stamped Sentiments Challenge #206

I had some fun playing around lastnight prepping for my monthly club meeting tonight.... what a fun technique to use!  The Big on You stamp set is DREAMY.  I love these HUGE sentiments... they make it easy to focus on creating a fun background and then allow it to remain a focal point!

Stampin' Royalty Challenge #267

Sorry about my absence for the past week... handing in my report cards today!  Yippeee!!!!

This week's Stampin' Royalty Challenge is an inspiration challenge... have to admit, I didn't get time to create in advance for this, so when I arrived home today I grabbed the leftovers on my desk and started assembling:)  I love the ampersand on the hardwood background... I did run the folder through with Bermuda Bay ink so that the ampersand would stand out more against the darker background:)

Seeing Stars

I saw a card with this same idea of the star cutouts on pinterest and I thought that our SAB DSP would be perfect for developing my own gradient of colour over a coordinating star background.  So quick, easy and FUN to create!  Best part... the DSP used in the background and that cute little star stamp both come from items you can earn for free during Sale-abration!

Okay, my mojo definitely isn't back yet but it at least felt good to put a stamp on paper yesterday.  I swear I spent the weekend in my craftroom staring at the walls... nothing would come to me.  Even sketches weren't helping.  I had a punch of bits and pieces from starting several times over so I just decided that those pieces were going to have to make a card whether they liked it or not:)
